The Confederation of Independent Football Associations (CONIFA), is a football federation to incorporate all associations that are not FIFA members.
CONIFA was founded on the 7th of June 2013, to act as a global non-profit organization, supporting officers and players of international football teams representing nations, de-facto nations, regions, minorites and sports isolated territories.
The organisation conducted the first edition of the World Football Cup for its members in June 2014 in Ostersund, Sweden. The tournament has been held biennially since. CONIFA is also the governing body of the European Football Cup, introduced in 2015.
